Type: Private Residence

The Sustainable Eco Townhouses were designed with a vision to merge the barriers between sophisticated architectural design and monetary restrictions to provide an adaptable townhouse solution for a variety of different household dynamics. In this project, attention was focused to providing potential owners the option of an affordable standard or premium 3 bedroom townhouse with the capacity to comfortably adapt to changes in the occupants’ lifestyle.


Each elevated 2 storey, 3 bedroom townhouse is planned around a linear floor plan of singular room depths. Living zones (dining, living, kitchen, and bathroom) are located on the ground floor, with an open kitchen/dining/living plan that extends via sliding glass doors to access the external by a wrap-around deck; creating a seamless transition between the interior and exterior.


Every room within the townhouse is also provided ample natural light via these sliding glass doors and louvered window bays, shaded with horizontal and vertical awnings to the exterior to ensure radiant heat exposure is reduced. A second bathroom and 3 bedrooms are located on the second floor, each facilitated with excellent cross flow ventilation via louvre bays and gaps between internal walls and the ceiling. The premium build option includes a 3rd bathroom which serves as an ensuite to the master bedroom.
